Designer Spotlight: Will Bryant
Austin, Texas has always had a reputation of being a city packed with character, and who better to inhabit it than character-driven Will Bryant? Self proclaimed “professional goofball”, Will approaches his work with a humor and optimism that shines through everything he does. With obvious influences from 90’s pop culture and a beautifully imperfect sketching aesthetic, Bryant’s work truly stands out. Though this might be the first time you have heard of his name, you have most likely already seen Bryant’s amazing work. From the quirky patterns done for Poler Stuff and K2 Snowboard designs to the Nick Jr. Summer TV Id’s. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon (yet another city with a reputation for extreme character), Will studied Graphic design earning his BFA from Mississippi State University and his MFA from Portland State University. Since then, he has won several awards including “Most Influential Designer” from Print Magazine in 2010 and Art Director’s Club Young Gun in 2013.
